This Privacy Policy only applies to our website located at stonewallforever.org (the "Website") and the Stonewall Forever AR app (the "App", collectively with the Website, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy does not apply to any other website, app, product or service of ours. The Services are owned and operated by or on behalf of the Lesbian and Gay Community Services Center, Inc., d.b.a. Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, & Transgender Community Center ("The Center", "our", "us", "we"). We recognize that users of our Services may be concerned about the information they provide to us and how we use that information. By visiting or using the Services, you accept the practices described in this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy may be changed or updated at any time. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy please do not access or otherwise use the Services.

Data Collection

Personal Information

When using the Services, you may be asked to provide, or you may choose to upload, certain personally identifiable information about yourself ("Personal Information"). Personal Information can include your name, email address, physical address and other information that specifically identifies you. Categories of Personal Information we collect include (i) identity data, which includes name or other similar identifiers and (ii) contact data, which includes address, email address and telephone numbers. We do not collect identity data or contact data from you unless you have voluntarily provided it to us. For example, you may provide us with Personal Information when you subscribe to receive emails from us, fill in forms available through the Services, when you submit/post material, or when you contact us through the Services.

You may also provide information and materials for publication or display ("Posted") on public areas of the Website and App (collectively, "User Contributions") which may be viewed and used by others. If you submit a request to post content on or through the Services, we will consider it for inclusion. We will contact you to let you know if your submission has been accepted for display on the Services.
Please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. Additionally, we are unable to control such uses of your User Contributions or Personal Information, and by using such services you assume the risk that the User Contributions or Personal Information Posted by you may be viewed and used by third parties.

Non-Personal Information

In addition, we may also collect non-personally identifiable information which does not specifically identify you ("Non-Personal Information"). Non-Personal Information may include information regarding your use of the Website and/or App, such as IP host address, pages viewed, traffic data, location data, and logs, as well as device information, such as unique device identifier, operating system, browser type, device and Internet connection, network information, and click stream data, and the resources that you access and use on or through the Services. Non-Personal Information may be automatically collected by us from you without any separate notice other than this Privacy Policy.

Upon your request, or with your confirmation, the App also may access metadata and other information associated with other files stored on your device. This may include, for example, photographs, and audio and video clips. The App may also collect real-time information about the location of your device. If you do not want us to collect or have access to this information do not download the App or delete it from your device or you may opt out at any time by changing the setting on your device. Note that opting out of the App's collection of location information will cause its location-based features to be disabled.

Information Usage and Disclosure

We will only use your Personal Information when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your Personal Information in the circumstances listed below.

By providing us with your Personal Information you consent to receive information and updates regarding our Services. We will only use your Personal Information described herein, unless you have specifically consented to another type of use, either at the time the Personal Information is collected from you or through some other form of consent from you or notification to you.

We may use your information, including your Personal Information to provide you with and operate the Services, to personalize your experience with us, to respond to your inquiries to The Center, send surveys seeking feedback, or provide you with information, such as by sending marketing communications and newsletters. We may also use your Personal Information to permit our vendors and subcontractors to access and process your Personal Information but they are only permitted to do so in connection with performing services for us. They are not authorized by us to use the information for their own benefit.

Data Retention and Security

The Center will retain your Personal Information to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. We will retain your information for as long as your account or inquiry is active or as needed to provide you with the Services and for a reasonable time thereafter in accordance with our standard procedures or as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. Even if we delete some or all of your Personal Information, we may continue to retain and use aggregate or anonymous data previously collected and/or anonymize or aggregate your Personal Information. Please note that we will not be liable for disclosures of your data due to errors or unauthorized acts of third parties.

Inside The Center, data is stored on password-protected servers. Our staff is educated about the importance of safeguarding your information. However, such precautions do not guarantee that our Services are invulnerable to all security breaks. The Center makes no warranty, guarantee or representation that the use of our Services are protected from viruses, security threats or other vulnerabilities and that your information will always be secure.

Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We may store some information on your device or device hard drive as a "cookie" or similar type of file (such as clear gifs, web beacons, tags, and similar technologies that work on mobile devices) to collect data related to usage of the Services and for the purpose of facilitating and enhancing your communication and interaction with the Services. If you have any complaints regarding our privacy practices, you have the right to complain to a supervisory authority.

Protection For Children

We have no intention of collecting Personal Information from children under the age of 13. When we become aware that Personal Information from a child under 13 has been collected without such child’s parent or guardian’s consent, we will use all reasonable efforts to delete such information from our database.

Our Services are maintained in the United States of America. By using the Services, you authorize the export of Personal Information to the USA and its storage and use as specified in this Privacy Policy. We transfer Personal Information from the EU to the USA and other countries, some of which have not been determined by the European Commission to have an adequate level of data protection. Information stored in the USA may be subject to lawful requests by the courts or law enforcement authorities in the USA.
