Randy Wicker on the social scene at the Stonewall Inn
Randy Wicker describes the social scene at the Stonewall Inn. Wicker was an early advocate for homosexual rights and secretary of the Mattachine Society of New York. In 1962, Wicker broadcast a panel discussion on gay rights on Pacifica Radio WBAI-FM, a significant milestone in ending America’s media silence on homosexuality.
