Jonathan Ned Katz on pre-Stonewall rebellions

Jonathan Ned Katz outlines some of the pre-Stonewall rebellions that occurred in the U.S., such as the New Year's Ball Raid in San Francisco in 1965, the Compton’s Cafeteria Riot in San Francisco in 1966 and the Black Cat tavern raids in Los Angeles in 1967. Katz is an LGBTQ historian, author and the creator of OutHistory.org, an online archive of queer history.
